Services for Mattie Ellis, 96, of Independence Mannor, are set for 2 p.m. today at Gaskill Funeral Chapel with Rev. David Fischer officiating.
Interment will be at Pilgrim's Rest Cemetey in Newalla. Mrs Ellis died Tuesday in a local hospital. Born June 2, 1883 in Rudy ark; she moved to Oklahoma in 1905 and had lived in the Shawnee area most of her life. Her husband and son preceeded her in death. Survivors include two sons, Gene Ellis, Carl Ellis, one daughter Mrs. Ruby Craft, one sister Mrs Bell Chandler; seven grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren also a number of nieces and nephews.
