Marriage: 5 February 1897 Pottawatomie County, Oklahoma Territory: She married Marion Benjamin Sparks.

The Gregory family lived 3 miles south and 1 mile wast of McLoud, Oklahoma. The Gregory homestead was located 1 miles west of the Sparks homestead.

Inder, her brother, Thomas, and her father, Griffin Clifford, died of tuberculous.Inder Gregory met Marion Benjamin Sparks as early as 1890 when the Gregory and Sparks families lived at Silver City, Oklahoma Territory. The year 1892 James Alfred Sparks and Griffin Clifford Gregory purchased homesteads one half mile from each other in Pottawatomie Co., Oklahoma Territory. On February 5, 1897 Marion Benjamin Sparks, son of James Alfred and Alice A. "Milstead" Sparks and Inder Gregory, daughter of Griffin Clifford and Naty Panetta "Alford" Gregory were married in the home of the bride. Marion Sparks age 20 and Inder Gregory age 19 were united in marriage by Elder M. H. Johnson. The marriage record lists as witnesses, "A part of both families". Five months before the marriage, Inder's brother, Thomas E. Gregory, died on August 30, 1896 from Tuberculosis. In a letter written by his widow, Laura Ann "Hinchee" Gregory, Laura wrote, Inder was sick when she married Marion Sparks. Inder died of the same disease on November 16, 1897. The Sparks and Gregory families were members of the Pilgrims Rest Church. Inder was buried in the Pilgrims Rest Cemetery on the south side of her brother Thomas. On June 1, 1899 Griffin Clifford Gregory died in his home from Tuberculosis and was buried the next day on the north side of his son Thomas in an unmarked grave.
