Thomas Hartley, 67, of 806 Ribble Avenue., died yesterday afternoon at his home after a lingering illness. Born in England, he came to this country as a young man.
Mr. Hartley was employed as a bricklayer until he became ill last March. He was a member of the Bricklayers' Union and the Eagles Lodge.
Surviving are the widow, Mattie; two stepsons, Horace Bunner of Muncie, and Fred Bunner of Benton Harbor, Mich.; and a sister, Mrs. Libby Harrison of England.
Funeral services will be conducted at 10:30 o'clock Tuesday morning at the Meeks Mortuary by the Rev. Roy Davidson. Burial will be in Beech Grove Cemetery. Friends may call at the mortuary from 3 to 5 o'clock tomorrow afternoon, from 7 to 9 o'clock tomorrow night or Tuesday.
