Mrs. Mattie Hartley, 806 Ribble Ave., widow of Thomas Hartley, died at her home Friday night following an extended illness. Her husband, a prominent brick mason, died in December, 1949.
Surviving are two sons, Horace Bunner, Muncie, and Fred Bunner, Marquette, Mich.; a sister, Mrs. Clara Dailey, Muncie; two brothers, Henry Smith, Romulus, Mich., and Omar Smith of Florida; five grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. Monday at Glad Tidings Church. The Rev. David Hogan, pastor, will officiate. Burial will be in Beech Grove Cemetery. Friends may call at Meeks Mortuary Sunday after 2 p.m. or Monday at the church an hour before services.
