LOIS B. AGLER

Lois B. Agler, 90, Oakland, PA, passed away on Friday, November 28, 2003. She was born in Susquehanna, PA, the daughter of the late Edward and Bertha (Colwell) Beavan.

She was predeceased by her husband, Herman Agler in 1972; a brother, LeGrande Beavan; and a granddaughter, Micki Jo Hayden.
Lois is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, H. Richard and Virginia Agler, Florida, Jack and Kaye Agler, Oakland; three daughters and son-in-law, Barbara Agler, California, Annette and Stewart Hayden, Susquehanna, Karen Fritch, Easton, PA; one brother, Ivan Beavan, California; 15 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

Lois was a member of the Susquehanna United Methodist Church, Susquehanna. Lois was retired from the Susquehanna County Library and Susquehanna Sears Catalog Store. She also managed the concession at Penn-Can Racetrack for several years and owned a small store in Oakland. Lois enjoyed gardening, bowling and golfing.

The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, December 3, 10:00 a.m. at Hennessey's Funeral Home, 208 Jackson Ave., Susquehanna, with the Rev. Kenneth Bitler officiating. Burial will be in the Evergreen Cemetery, Susquehanna.
