Mrs Anna Linkenhoker Ageon, widow of James Ageon passed away at her home near Buchanan on Wednesday morning, March 26.

Mrs Ageon was born in Botetourt county near Lithia, on Oct. 10, 1872, and has lived in this County all her life. She was a faithful member of Lithia Methodist church. Her character was lovely and she will be sadly missed in her community and home.

Funeral services were conducted at the home on Friday afternoon by her pastor, Rev W D King assisted by Rev A E Koch of the Episcopal church.

She leaves the following children: Lewis L and Miss Kathleen Ageon, of Roanoke, Mrs H Lacy Smith of Charlottesville, Mrs F O Marshall, of Buchanan and Miss Eve Ageon, Fort Benning, Georgia.
Also six grandchildren: Eldridge, Doris, Billy, and Gerald Marshall, and Lacy Ageon Smith.
Also the following sisters and brothers: Mrs C P Stone, Clifton Forge; L H and G P Linkenhoker of Clifton Forge and ___ F Linkenhoker of Roanoke.

Active pallbearers: John Hardbarger, Frank Wickline, J A Williamson, W C Littrell, Earl Caldwell, Jimmy Hester.
Honorary pallbearers: L A and W H Williamson, J W Good, Dr M S Stinnett, C W Blount, W J Martin, H B _ash, J S Lackland, E C Cox, Talbot DeLong, Matt McCulloch, W R and George Hardbarger.
