Adam Ament, of Highville, died on Monday afternoon at 1 o'clock, following a long illness.from a complication of diseases. He was formerly a farmer, but had been retired for some time. Deceased was born in Guise, Germany, July 21, 1820. He is survived by his wife and the following children: John, Centerville; Andrew M., Highville; Mrs. Benjamin Carr, Safe Harbor. Two brothers, John, city, and Frank, Bird-in-Hand, also survive. -The. funeral will be held on Thursday morning at 10 o'clock, with services in the Highville D, B. Church at 11 o'clock. Interment in the adjoining cemetery.
