Anna Mae Jones, 89, Eubank died yesterday in Norwood, Ohio, following a lengthy illness.
She was born in Eubank on Sept. 13, 1898, the daughter of the late Logan and Mary Green Chaney Sowders. She was a homemaker and a member of the First Christian Church of Somerset.
Survivors include a brother, Yates Sowders, Cincinnati, Ohio; three sisters, Louise Wells, Eubank, Florence Howard, Florida, and Dorothy Harris, Cincinnati; three grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Franklin Carter "Casey" Jones, whom she married on Dec. 24, 1921; a son, Raymond C. Jones; and a brother, Everett Sowders.
Services will be at 10 a.m. tomorrow at the chapel of Morris and Hislope Landmark Funeral Home, Science Hill, with the Rev. Mike Gatton officiating.
Burial will be in the Eubank Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 6-9 p.m. today at the funeral home.
