Fred T. Sowders, 52, Sharonville, Ohio, died Sunday at his home.

He was born in Pulaski County June 5, 1918, son of Logan Sowders and the former Mary Chaney, both deceased.

He was married to the former Gladys Sweet, December 31, 1938 and she survives.

Additional survivors include one son, Don of Mason, Ohio; three brothers, Everett of Eubank, Yates of Norwood, Ohio, and Ell of Troy, Ohio; four sisters, Louise Wells of Eubank, Anna Jones of Somerset, Florence Howard of Florida, and Dorothy Harris of Norwood, Ohio.

He had lived in Sharonville for the last 34 years. He was a service station owner and a partner in Lockland Motors and in Reading Motors, both located in Ohio.

Funeral services were conducted today in the chapel of Farris-Morris-Hislope Funeral Home with Zenas Eubank officiating.

Burial was in the Eubank cemetery.
