Born on Apr. 21, 1884 at Botetourt County, Virginia, a daughter of James John Green and Margaret Ann "Maggie" Honaker Green. She married John Lewis Arritt on December 10, 1909. Her husband passed away on Aug 5, 1917 at Ronceverte, Greenbrier County, West Virginia and buried in the Riverview Cemetery at Ronceverte, West Virginia.
Neta was a wonderful person, not only did she raise her own children but also her granddaughter. Neta lived in Covington, Virginia for a long time until moving to Norfolk where she died. She passed away on January 11, 1967 at Norfolk Virginia and buried at Woodlawn Cemetery at Virginia Beach, Virginia.
