Mrs. Ida Chesemore Jordan
Mrs. Ida C. Jordan, 56, of 1050 Center avenue, died at 6:15 a.m. Sunday in Mercy Hospital where she had been admitted last Wednesday. Her husband, Orin Jordan, was fatally injured in an auto accident near Evansville March 14, 1950.
The former Ida Schuman was born in Montello Dec. 31, 1893, and had been a Janesville resident for the past 25 years. She was a member of Triumph camp, Royal Neighbors.
Surviving are one son, Robert C, Miller, Janesville; one daughter, Mrs. Bernice Buggs, Janesville; two grandchildren; three brothers and four sisters.
Services will be held at 3 p.m. Wednesday
In the Overton funeral home, the Very Rev. Henry W. Roth, Trinity Episcopal church, officiating. Burial will be in Oak Hill cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home Tuesday evening.
