James Hargrove passed away on 26 Oct 1874 in Franklin County, and was buried at Cypress Cemetery in Winnsboro, Franklin County, Texas.
James Hargrove actually died in Titus County, Texas – Franklin County was carved out of Titus County in 1875 -
