From a history @familysearch.org:

Fredrick Beyeler Sr. was born 21 September 1850, at Guiggisburg Kanton Bern, Switzerland to Johannes Beyeler and Margaretha Pulfer Beyeler. The family lived in a home more or less isolated, down in a canyon by a creek called Schwatz Wasser "Black Water", during his childhood days.

After finishing elementary school he went to work as a farm laborer. He continued this until he was 35 years of age at which time he came in contact with the Mormon Missionaries. Recognizing the truth when he heard it, he was converted, baptized, and confirmed a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. He immigrated to America in 1887 or 1888. He arrived at Paris, Bear Lake County, Idaho in June and was employed by J.U. Stucki. He worked for $6.00 a month. He worked for this amount until he paid the money for his passage to the United States, which was furnished by Mr. Stucki.

Early in 1890, he sent $5.00 that he had saved to Switzerland to Rosina Roherer Reber, a widow with whom he had been corresponding. This finished the amount she needed to come to America. At this time he was working for Bob Spence, an attorney. In September Fred and Rosina went in a covered wagon to Logan, Utah and were married in September 1890. They spent one week in Logan doing endowment work in the temple. Fritz, as he was called, was four foot ten inches tall, a small man with a big spirit.

Three sons were born to Fritz and Rosina:

Fredrick, born June 28, 1891 at Paris. He married Lena Margret Watson.

Charles Robert, born March 8, 1893 at St. Charles. He married Ruth Findlay, April 2, 1915.

Leo William, born November 17, 1894 at St. Charles. He married Gladys Nelson, October 11, 1915.

In October 1892, they moved from Paris to St. Charles, Idaho and went to work for Bishop J.A. Hunt Sr. He was Bishop of the St. Charles Ward. Fredrick Beyeler Sr. remained in Bishop Hunt's employment for fifteen years.

In 1905, they bought a home and twelve acres of ground in Fish Haven, Idaho to which they moved in July 1907. Fredrick continued to work for Hunt until March 1908. At that time he met with an accident. He was going to butcher a veal calf, which kicked him and broke his leg.

Rosina and Fredrick raised a large garden at their home in Fish Haven. They grew apples, pears, plums, cherries, raspberries, and other fruits that could be grown in the Fish Haven area. Rosina raised cabbage and cauliflower plants and sold them to the neighbors. They sold vegetables.

They spent the last fifteen years of their lives in their own home, happy doing things they enjoyed. They could go to church every Sunday. One of the things they had always wanted to do since they had joined the church, but they had lived too far away for part of the time. They were active members of the church. Fredrick was a High Priest. They raised some hay and two or three cows and a horse. Fredrick was a custodian for the church and school houses in Fish Haven until he passed away.

Rosina Rohrer Beyeler passed away on March 2, 1922. Fredrick Beyeler passed away on January 17, 1923.
