Steven R. Anderson, Sr. Lansing, MI Born on July 31, 1937 in Elk Rapids, MI; passed away in Lansing, MI on Wednesday, May 21, 2008, at the age of 70. He was preceded in death by his parents, Percy and Louisa Anderson, 3 brothers and 3 sisters. Steven served in the U.S. Navy, was a General Motors Retiree and enjoyed bingo, nickel slots, softball and bowling. Steve took great pride in his children's accomplishments and loved spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was a devoted Spartans Fan and loved to watch and cheer for all Michigan Sate and Detroit sports teams. Friends and family are invited to his home, 2120 N. East St., Lansing, MI for a Wake Service to be held on Friday with a prayer service at 7:00 p.m. An additional prayer service will be held in Kewadin, MI on Sunday, May 25, 2008 at 7:00 p.m. at Kewadin Indian Mission Church. Funeral services to be held at Kewadin Indian Mission Tabernacle on Monday, May 26, 2008 at 1:00 p.m. Burial will proceed in the Kewadin Indian Mission Cemetery. The family is being served by Gorsline-Runciman Funeral Homes, Lansing.
