at the home of his son-in-law and
daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Charles
?issinger of Kettering.
A retired farmer, Mr. DeVoe
was a lifetime resident of the
Port William community. He was
born there June 2, 1877, the son of
William and Catherine Mason
DeVoe.
Survivors include four other
daughters. Mrs. Paul Doggett of
Dayton. Mrs. Edward Dever of
West Alexandria. Mrs. Arthur
Fannin of Manitou Springs, Colo.,
and Mrs. Carl Miley of Wilming-
ton; two stepdaughters, Mrs.
Charles Manor of Xenia and Mrs.
Wayne Faulkner of Wilmington;
one son, Lloyd DeVoe of Cedar-
ville; a sister, Mrs. William Bales
of Jamestown; five brothers,
Simon, Charles, Louis and Larme,
all of Port William, and Omar
DeVoe of Dayton; nine grandchil-
dren and 15 great-grandchildren.
Rev. Robert Robinson, pastor
of the Port William Methodist
Church, will conduct services
Wednesday at 1 p.m. at the Neeld
Funeral Home, 106 W. Market
St. Burial will be in Port William
Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral
home from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m.
Tuesday.
