Last rites were held at 3:30 p.m. today at Hanes Chapel for Miss Nora J. Johnson, 78, of Richmond, Va., who died in a hospital there Saturday, following several months illness.
Rev. M. T. Hipps, pastor of Centenary Methodist Church, officiated and intement followed in Green Hill Cemetery.
A native of Guilford county Miss Johnson had lived in Richmond since 1920. She was the daughter of the late John H. Johnson and Mary Burkhead Johnson.
Immediate survivors include a brother, Harris B. Johnson of Mt. AIry.
