A message was received here Monday telling of the death of Mrs. Mary A. V. Johnson, widow of John H. Johnson, at her residence, 3322 Floyd ave, Richmond, Va. A sister of Mrs. Johnson, Mrs. M. P. Ridge, resides here at 413 South Edgeworth street, where the funeral will be held Tuesday afternoon at 4 o'clock. Interment will be in Green Hill Cemetery.

In addition to Mrs. Ridge, Mrs. Johnson leaves another sister, Mrs. Clint Lisk, of Mt. Gilead; two daughters, Miss Nora J. Johnson, of Richmond, Va., and Mrs. Alice J. Albright, of Birmingham, Ala; one son, H. B. Johnson, of Richmond; and granddaughters, Mrs. EVelyn ALbright McClellan, of Birmingham, and Miss Hilda Day Johnson, of Richmond.

Mrs. Johnson was a former resident of Greensboro, having rmoved to Richmond about 15 years ago, The funeral party is expected to arrive here at 7 o.clock Tuesday morning and will proceed to Mrs. Ridge's residence.
