Gary Andrew Kimmel, age 56 of Dallas, Texas passed away from complications due to cancer on January 12, 2013. Born April 16, 1956, Gary was known for his sense of humor, generous spirit, and concern for the community. He was a 1974 graduate of Highland Park HS and volunteered at the Richardson YMCA for many years. He was also a church choir member at FBC Dallas and Park Cities Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his brother, David. Gary is survived by sons, James (wife Christen) and Clinton, of Waco, parents, James and Sue of Dallas, brother, Glenn (wife Penny) of Rowlett, nephew, Jason (wife Sara) of Mesquite and nieces Megan and Melissa of Rowlett.


Visitation will be 6-8 pm on Wednesday, January 16, 2013 at Restland (13005 Greenville Ave) and services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 17, 2013 in the Chapel at Park Cities Baptist Church (3933 Northwest Parkway) and will be followed by a graveside service at Midlothian Cemetery.
