Sue taught school for a year in Fort Worth, TX then after that decided to stay home and raise her family. She was busy with 3 boys, David, Gary and Glenn; they stayed active with church, school activities, sports and summers on the lake.
They were members of First Baptist Church of Dallas and were very involved in the Chapel Choir. Sue enjoyed quilting, genealogy and cooking for her family. She loved her 5 grandchildren and enjoyed spending time with them and supported them in all of their activities. Sue also loved being around her 6 great grandchildren.
Sue is survived by her husband of 68 years James; son Glenn and wife Penny; grandchildren James Kimmel and wife Christen, Jason Kimmel and wife Sarah, Clinton Kimmel and wife Jessica, Melissa Kimmel and Megan Kimmel; great grandchildren Hallie, Wyatt, Elizabeth, Beau, Anna Grace and Katelyn.
Sue is preceded in death by her sons David Kimmel and Gary Kimmel; her parents Thomas and Susan Neely and her grandson Daniel Kimmel.
