Etta Mae Gibson Harness, 84, of Huntsville, passed away November 21, 2011, at her home. Born November 24, 1926, she was preceded in death by her parents, Dealus and Dora Lawson Gibson; husband, Fred Harness; daughters, Gussie and Marilyn Harness; son, Jimmy Dean Harness; brothers: Albert, Willie, and Carl Gibson; and sisters: Doris Smith, Georgia Gibson, and Izilla Harness. She is survived by her children: Willis, Devon, Floyd, and Jannie Harness, Oma Morgan, Shelia Wright, Dora Easley, and Alma Newport; 24 grandchildren, 35 great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild, sisters: Florina Massengale, Irene Olanger, Glenna Harness, and Sheryl Kay Lambdon; special friends: Tony and Carla Lowe and family, Stephen and Trish West and family, and Lou Ann Vanover; and many other relatives. Funeral service was conducted November 26, at Bull Creek United Baptist Church with Bro. Dudley Harness, Bro. Carlie Duncan, and Bro. Don Hughett officiating.
