Anne "Annie" Gavin was the 2nd daughter born to Mary (née) Aylward and John Gavin on their farm at Seacow Pond. P.E.I.'s PARO Baptismal Registry noted Annie was born on Nov 17 1840. She was baptized Dec 6 1840 by cleric E. Perrey in the St. Simon and St. Jude Roman Catholic Church. Annie's parents emigrated from Ireland and disembarked in 1817 at P.E.I. in the New London Bay of the Gulf of St Lawrence. In 1818 they relocated to the north and settled in Lot 3 of West Prince County on 75 acres at Seacow Pond.~Annie married Terrence Farrell c1874. Birth records from the St. Simon & St. Jude church show at least 5 children were born to the couple: Mary (b:9-20-1875), James Edward (b:5-15-1877), Angelina M. (b:2-27-1880), Josephine Mary (b:1-12-1882) and Terrence Jr. (b:6-22-1883).
