Funeral services for Frances Dicks Kitchings Sessions 99, of Williston, SC will be held at Mt. Beulah Baptist Church, Windsor with the Reverend David Richardson officiating; burial will be in the church cemetery.
Mrs. Sessions passed away on Tuesday, September 18, 2018.
Born in Aiken County, SC, she was a daughter of the late Luther Sibley Dicks and Carrie Wall Dicks.
She was first married to the late Olin G. Kitchings and was the widow of George Q. Sessions. She was the oldest member of Mt. Beulah Baptist Church; she served the Lord and her church in numerous capacities. She was a homemaker, a farmer and an accomplished seamstress.
Survivors include Linda K (Bill) Johnson of Williston; Wallace (Sheryl) Kitchings of Elko, Gene Kitchings of Aiken; Catherine S. (Harry) Baird; Deanna Sessions, Paul S. (Peggy) Sessions; grandchildren Allen (Marie) Johnson, Susan (Edward) Selden, Michael (Gail) Johnson, Edwin Cooley, Beth (Charles) Smoak, Karen Kitchings, Marna Hernandez, Laura (Will) Kannon, Donna Shafer; 25 great grandchildren, 2 great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her daughter and son-in-law Miriam K. and Edwin Cooley; a son George M. Sessions; sisters Essie D. Barnes, Eunice D. Peacock, Jessie Dicks; brothers Gary Dicks, Norman Dicks and Wallace Dicks.
