A Graveside Funeral Service for Wallace Hampton Kitchings, 79, of Elko, SC will be held at eleven o'clock a.m., Friday, July 15, 2022 at Mt. Beulah Baptist Church Cemetery, Windsor, SC with the Reverend Tom Baker officiating. The family will receive friends following the service at the graveside on Friday. Memorial contributions may be sent in Wallace's memory to Mt. Beulah Baptist Church, 856 Mt. Beulah Rd., Windsor, SC 29856 or Elko Baptist Church, P.O. Box 277, Elko, SC 29826. Wallace passed away on Wednesday, July 13, 2022.

Born in White Pond, SC, he was a son of the late Olin G. Kitchings and Frances Dicks Kitchings Sessions. He was a graduate of Williston Elko High School and a member of Mt. Beulah Baptist Church, Windsor, SC. He and his wife previously owned and operated Kitchings Supply in Elko for 23 years.

Survivors include his loving wife of 59 years Sheryl Lynn Baker Kitchings; his sister Linda K. Johnson of Williston and a brother Gene Kitchings of Aiken, along with a number of nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his sister and brothers-in-law Miriam K. and Edwin Cooley and Bill Johnson.
