Geneva Henry Michael, 94, of Huntsville, passed away on Sunday at Windsor House Nursing Facility. She was born in Anniston, Alabama and then worked at Redstone Arsenal during World War Two. She was then employed at Huntsville Hospital for 27 years.

She taught Sunday School for many years in the Church of the Nazarene and was a member of Huntsville Southeast Church of the Nazarene at the time of her death.

She is survived by her son: Sam (Lila) Michael of Gurley, Alabama; Her daughters: Melba (Leonard) Hunt of Brownsboro, Alabama and Carolyn (Rev. Wallace) Thornton of Somerset, Kentucky; Her sisters: Miriam Gore and Sarah Bailey of Huntsville; 13 Grandchildren, 15 Great-grandchildren, 3 Great-great-Grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Coy W. Michael; 2 sons: William and Ken Michael; Parents: S.E. and Flora Henry, 2 sisters, 3 brothers, and 2 grandsons.
Funeral services will be Thursday (31 January 2013) at 1pm at Southeast Church of the Nazarene with Rev. David Seymour and Dr. Kevin Ulmet officiating. Burial will follow in Maple Hill Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be two hours prior to the service.
