John R. Todd, 79, died Sunday, October 15, at the Louisville Suburban Hospital. He was a native of Green County born there August 14, 1899, the son of the late James and Sally Todd. He was a former resident of Taylor County, who had made his home at 441 Rockwood Drive, Louisville. Mr. Todd was retired from the Container Corp. where he was a printer. He was a member of the Methodist church. Survivors include his wife, Rena Todd, Louisville; one daughter, Mrs. Mary Cutsinger of Louisville; one brother, Bill Todd of Columbia; one sister, Mrs. Sally Farris of Campbellsville; and one granddaughter, Sandra Lee Cutsinger. Graveside services were conducted by the Lyon Funeral Home at 1 p.m., Wednesday, October 18, at the Green River Memorial Cemetery with the Rev. Richard Ramsey officiating. Pallbearers were Bobby Walters, Ralph Walters, W. L. Farris, Raymond Douenhouer, Elbert Tarter, and Howard Kerr.
