Mrs. Mary M. Kordus, 69, 304 Robb St., Schofield, died suddenly Sunday in a local hospital. She was stricken at home with an apparent heart attack following church and was taken to the hospital in an ambulance about noon.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday at Janssen Funeral Home and at St. Therese's Catholic Church. The Very Rev. Joseph Henseler will officiate and burial will be in St. Michael's Cemetery. The body will be at the funeral home Tuesday and the rosary will be said there Tuesday night. The Little Flower Council of St. Therese's Church will hold honor guard.

Mrs. Kordus was born March 12, 1896 in the Town of Cassel, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Louis Pospyhalla. She was married in the Town of Cassel May 23, 1916 to Leo Kordus who died Aug. 11, 1954. She was a member of the Holy Angels Circle of St. Therese's Church.

Surviving are five sons, Emeric, Menasha, Ervin, 1401 Marquardt St., Leo, 610 Lincoln Ave., Mark, 706 N. 10th Ave., and Raymond, Cheyenne, Wyo.; five daughters, Mrs. Vincent Manecke, 401 11th St., Mrs. Ray Derby, Schofield, Mrs. Carl Rozmairek, Green Bay, Mrs. Leonard Sattler, Rothschild, and Mrs. Kenneth Spaude, Wisconsin Rapids; four brothers, John, Milwaukee, Raymond, Chicago, Joseph, St. Paul, Minn., and Louis, Town of Cassel; four sisters, Mrs. Helen Bauer, Clintonville, Mrs. Clara Wadinski, Marathon, Mrs. Barbara Kolberg, Milwaukee, and Mrs. Lucy Pikulik, West Allis; 42 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
