The former Clara Pospyhalla was born in Mosinee, June 28, 1894, daughter of the late Louis and Anna Pospyhalla. She was married in the town of Cassel, Marathon County, May 14, 1914 to Leo Wadinski. He died Dec. 16, 1968. The couple farmed in the town of Cassel until 1951 when they retired and moved to Marathon. She was well known for her quilts, knitting and gardening.
Survivors include seven daughters, Mrs. Emily Murkowski, Rothschild, Mrs. Joseph (Alvina) Szymanski and Mrs. Dominic (Dolores) Marzynski, both of Marathon, Mrs. Robert (Lucille) Royston, Mazamonie, Mrs. Virginia Paszek, West Allis, and Mrs. James (Angeline) Kryshak and Mrs. Philip (Leona) Ritger, both of Wausau; 23 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m., Tuesday at Kraemer Funeral Home, Marathon, and at 11 a.m. at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Marathon. The Rev. Tom Schmeid, OFM Cap., will officiate. Burial will be in the parish cemetery.
Friends may call after 3 p.m. Monday at Kraemer Funeral Home, Marathon, where a combined rosary service by members of the Parish Councils of Catholic Women of St. Mary's Church and Sacred Heart Catholic Church, town of Cassel will be held at 3:30 p.m. Monday and there will be a parish rosary at 8 p.m. Monday.
