Author and film director. He wrote more than 100 dramatic works. Among his books are "El Arte del Comediante," "Memorias de un Hombre de Teatro," "Gabino El Mayoral," "El Tango en París." Founder of ARGENTORES (Argentine Author´s Association.) In the same vault is buried his daughter Luz María García Velloso (1908-1924). The sculpture of a young girl slepping is one of the most visited and admired by tourists at the Recoleta cemetery.
