Philip Derr
Philip Derr, 82, one of Gordon's eldest residents, died at his home
, Friday morning, following a week's long illness. He was a resident of
and vicinity for the past 62 years and was a retired farmer.
He was a member of the Church of God, of Gordon. To survive he
leaves the following children: Mrs Joshua Martz, Williamsport;
Mrs Esther Dietz, Ashland; John, Ashland; Frank, Germanville; Jacob,
Frackville, and Michael, Ft Springs. Sixteen grandchildren and eightgreat
grandchildren also survive.
The funeral will be held Monday with interment in the Ft Springs Cemetery.
Kull Bros., Ashland have charge.
