Charles R. Heinen, born November 22, 1940, in Okarche, OK to John and Loretta Heinen, died at Mercy Hospital February 1, 2013. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army, stationed in Germany, and later served his community for 27 years as a State Farm insurance agent. He was a founding member of Epiphany Catholic Church and served as the Building Committee chairman. He was preceded in death by his parents and four brothers, Robert, Donald, Edwin, and Joe. He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Mary; his three children, John, Mark (Amy), and Jill Duncan (Scott); 11 grandchildren, Cora, John "Jack," Adelaide, Charles, Theodore, Christopher, Sarah, John Peter, Emily, Mary and Kayleigh; one brother, Gerald (Mary Ann); and three sisters, Dorthy Amacher (Bill), Mary Kay Rother, and Martha Smith (David). Loving Husband, Father, Grandfather, Uncle and BrotherEvening prayer service is scheduled for Monday, February 4th at 7 p.m. at Smith and Kernke Funeral Home, 14624 N. May Ave., Oklahoma City, and the Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday, February 5th at 10 a.m. at Epiphany of the Lord Catholic Church, 7336 W. Britton Rd., Oklahoma City.
