Dora Lewis was born March 6, 1927 and departed this life February 26, 2019, 2019 reaching the age of 91 years. She was the daughter of the late Frank and Bertha Catherine (Doss) Rigney.
She is survived by: her daughter, Shirley Carrendar; five grandchildren, Lisa Perkins, Sheila Hicks, Robin Lewis, Tiffany Patrick and Nicole Lewis; 13 great grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchildren. She is also survived by: two sisters, Lois Simpson and Betty Dishman; along with a host of family and friends who mourn her passing.
In addition to her parents, Frank and Bertha Rigney, she was preceded in death by: her husband, Mack Lewis; three sons, Leonard Ray, Lewis Hale, and Glen David Lewis; one great grandchild.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, March 2, 2019 between 5 pm – 8 pm in the chapel of the funeral home. Funeral services will be held Sunday, March 3, 2019 at 2 pm at the Hicks-Vaughn Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in the Tuttle's Chapel Cemetery.
