FORMER RESIDENT DIES AT SEATTLE
Word has been received here by Mrs. Theresa Washburn of the death of her aunt, Mrs. John Mullane, 74, former resident of Nasewaupee, who died at Seattle, Washington, October 30. The body was taken to the Matheson home in Chicago and the funeral was held from the St. Cyril church there November 5 with interment at the Holy Sepulchre cemetery.

Mrs. Mullane, whose maiden name was Nora Fitzgerald came to Door county about 1875 to live with her sister, Mrs. John Matheson, and was married here to John Mullane in 1884. Mr. Mullane died in 1893 and later the mother and children moved to Chicago. Eventually, Mrs. Mullane went west and has lived there with her daughter, Winnifred. Surviving are four children, Mrs. Katherine Pittelkan, Detroit, Michigan; Winnifred, Seattle; James, Chicago; and John, Milwaukee; and two grandchildren Sylvia and Bruce Bell, of Detroit.
