Jerry George Rhoda 82 formerly of Lafayette, died at 2:30 a.m. today at the home of a son Alfred Rhoda three miles southeast of Alamo with whom he lived 18 years. He suffered a stroke two weeks ago. Born in Holland he came to the United States when he was 9 years old. He married Jennie Mollenkopf at Lafayette in 1898 and she died several years ago. He belonged to the First Reformed church, Lafayette and is survived by three sons George Rhoda, Lafayette, James Rhoda living in Iowa and Alfred with a stepson, John Mollenkopf of Lafayette.
