Worthy Glisson Thrasher, 89, died Thursday, Aug. 19, 1999, at Ripley Manor Nursing Home.
She was a homemaker and a Pentecostal.
Services were Saturday at Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Pete Wooley and Bro. Carroll Talley officiating. Burial was in Lone Oak Cemetery.
Survivors are three sons, Pad Thrasher of Ripley, W.C. Thrasher and Junior Thrasher both of Corinth, one daughter Dorothy Mills of Corinth, three sisters, Cordie Wilbanks and Elzader Tatum, both of Corinth and Ruth Rainey of Ripley. 16 grand children, 23 great grand children.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William Thrasher, and two sons, Roger Dale Thrasher, and Mitchell Thrasher.
