Oscar was the son of Samuel Albert Jackson and Nancy Nannie McCoy.

Oscar G. Jackson, 64, died Tuesday at his home, 6223 W. Beecher Rd., Clayton, Mich. Born August 5, 1906, in Greenup, Ky., he was preceded in death by his parents, Albert and Nancy McCoy Jackson, and a brother, Ralph. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Marjorie Capper Jackson; two sons, Wray of Linwood, Mich. and Roland, at home; three brothers, William of Hartford City, Ind., Samuel, 2602 Mabert Rd., and Leonard, 123 Glover St.; two sisters, Mrs. W. B. Evans of Cleveland and Mrs. Earl E. Shope, 1418 17 St., and six grandchildren. He was a member of the Masons and a business representative of the United Brotherhood of Carpenters and Joiners of America, Local 227 Millwrights of Adrian, Mich. Services are to be conducted Thursday at 1 p.m. at Everiss Funeral Home, Adrian, Mich., and Friday at 1 p.m. at Plum Grove (Ky.) Church. Burial is to be in the church cemetery.
