Visitation will be today, Nov. 6, 2005, from 6-9 p.m. at Greenview Funeral Home. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Monday, Nov. 7, 2005, at Greenview Memorial Chapel, with burial to follow in Greenview Memorial Park. Officiating at the service will be Gilbert Kretzer.
Mrs. Braudaway was preceded in death by her parents, Felix and Alice Denton; two sisters, Martha Lenay and Darling Beard; and a brother, Felix Fenton Denton Jr.
She is survived by her husband of 51 years, Sonny Braudaway, of Florence; two brothers, John Louis Denton, of Florence, and Clayton Denton, of Nashua, N.H.; two sisters, Rose Carpenter, of Florence, and Elsie Lyons, of Houston, Texas; several nieces and nephews who loved her dearly.
Pallbearers will be Johnny Denton Jr., Gil Denton, Ray L. Carpenter Jr., Floyd W. Carpenter, John Raymond Mitchell and Frank L. Carpenter.
Mrs. Braudaway was affectionately known as "Aunt Gal" by all that knew and loved her, especially her nieces and nephews.
She was a loving wife, who enjoyed her pets and flower gardens. She will be missed by those who loved and knew her well.
