Garland McDonald, 76, a retired carpenter, Taylor Avenue in Campbellsville, son of the late William McDonald and Sarah Tom Bass McDonald, was born in Taylor County, Kentucky, August 19, 1910. He died at 9:50 a.m., Sunday, May 17, 1987 at the Highlands Baptist Hospital in Louisville after a brief illness. He attended the Campbellsville Christian Church. He united in marriage to Lucille Graham January 18, 1933. To this union two sons and one daughter were born: Leonard McDonald, Larry McDonald, and Linda Johnson, all of Campbellsville. Besides his wife and children, he is survived by one granddaughter, Lea Ann Wilson, Campbellsville; four step-granddaughters and one step-grandson, Jonathan Wilson, Campbellsville; one step-great-grandson and one step-great-granddaughter, Josh Farmer and Melissa Farmer, both of Campbellsville; one sister and one brother: Millie Bland, Campbellsville and Finis McDonald, Louisville; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends. Funeral was at 2 p.m., Wednesday, May 20 at the Parrott & Ramsey Funeral home in Campbellsville by the Rev. Paul Patton, Dr. Rodford McDonald, and Bro. Roger Holmes. Burial was in Brookside Cemetery. Pallbearers were: Curt Flinchum, Lynwood Bland, Eddie Childers, Charles Logan Childers, Charles E.
