Toncie McDonald Cox, 79, of 109 Country View Court, Campbellsville, died at 5:00 a.m., Tuesday, March 13, 1984, at her home. She was of the Church of God faith. She united in marriage to Otha Cox Feb. 21, 1921. He preceded her in death July 11, 1971. To this union six sons and four daughters were born: Charles E. Cox and Wallace Cox, both of Mannsville; Kenneth Cox of Campbellsville; Daniel Cox of Bradfordsville; Carl R. Cox, William A. Cox, Evelyn Meadows, Mary Waller, Sylvia Graybeal, and Cozetta Buster, all of Louisville. Besides her children, she is survived by 28 grandchildren; 7 step-grandchildren; 38 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; two brothers and two sisters: Garland McDonald and Millie Bland, both of Campbellsville; Finas McDonald of Louisville; and Lena Wheeler of Senaca, Ill.; several nieces and nephews and a host of friends. Funeral was at 2 p.m., Friday, March 16, at the Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home in Campbellsville by Bro. Ralph Boil!
s. Burial was in Jones Chapel United Methodist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers were: Larry McDonald, David Bland, Lynwood Bland, Allen Kent Bohanaon, Freddy Cox, and Russell Gray. ~Obituaries of Taylor County, Kentucky, Volume I, compiled by Eunice Montgomery Wright, January 20, 1989, p. 95
