OBITUARY
Mrs. S. D. Bennett died on Oct. 9th after a long illness.
The deceased was born in Rock Island county, Illinois, May 10, 1871, and with her parents came to Nebraska in 1873, residing at Shickley, Neb. She was united in marriage to S. D. Bennett on April 3, 1889. To this union was born four sons and two daughters, of which two preceeded the mother, one daughter passing away Nov. 19, 1913 and the son March 19, 1914. A husband, four children, five sisters and three brothers are left to mourn her loss.
The funeral service was held at the Christian church last Sunday at 2 p.m. conducted by Rev. Russell, pastor of the Presbyterian church and the remains were laid to rest in Mapel Grove cemetery (sic).
The bereaved family have the sympathy of a large circle of friends and neighbors in the loss of a loving wife and mother.
