Mon., June 1 (2-5): W. A. Casseday, "Uncle Billy," died today at his residence on South 8th near Speight. Abstract man. Born at Nashville, Tennessee, and was 58. As a boy, to Kentucky with his parents. To Waco in the early 70's. In 1870, married Miss Berte Hubor of Louisville. In the real estate firm of Renick & Casseday. There is one surviving daughter of his first marriage: Mrs. Etta Axtell of Shawnee, Oklahoma Territory. Married a second time, 1879, to Miss Corinne Louchridge and she survives, with children: Pattie, Mary, Lizzie, William, Alexander and Albert. Formerly Chief of Waco Fire Department. Funeral pending arrival of Brother, Sam Casseday of Nashville.
