She was the wife of the poet, novelist, playwright and Nobel Prize Winner for Literature, Luigi Pirandello. Mary was the daughter of a wealthy partner of father of Luigi Pirandello, their marriage was agreed upon by their families. Nevertheless between the two spouses was born truly love and passion. They were married in 1894 and a year later the marriage they moved to Rome, where they lived their entire lives. From their marriage were born three sons, Stefano (1895-1972), Rosalia (Lietta) (1897-1971) and Fausto (1899-1975). Mary died as a result of the mental illness from which she suffered in an insane asylum in the city of Rome.
