Ivadell (Secrest) Baker, 77, Hartford City, died at 8:43 am, Friday, February 8, 2013 in Miller's Merry Manor, Hartford City. She was born in Marion, Indiana to the late Harry and Iva (Hellyer) Secrest. She married King Baker on November 28, 1956. He preceded her in death on August 16, 2000.

She was a homemaker and a member of the First Church of God. Ivadell enjoyed baking and sewing. She enjoyed Native American Re-enactment and was a participant in the Mississinewa 1812 Battlefield Society. She especially enjoyed spending time with children—raising not only her children, but assisted in raising other children.

Funeral Service: at 11:00 am, Tuesday, February 12, 2013 at Needham-Storey-Wampner Funeral Service North Chapel, 1341 N. Baldwin Ave., Marion, IN. Burial will be in Grant Memorial Park, Marion, IN

Visitation: will be Monday, February 11, 2013 from 5-8 PM and one hour prior to the service on Tuesday at the funeral home.
