Nancy (Wylie) Duckett, 59, wife of Halon McArthur Duckett of Union, SC, died at her home on Sunday, December 5, 2004.

Born in Gaffney, SC, on May 14, 1945, a daughter of Gene and Gladys (Searcy) Wiley of Union.

Mrs. Duckett was a graduate of Union High School and a member of Fairview Baptist Church.

Surviving in addition to her husband and parents are two daughters, June Carol Davis and husband Larry, and Julie Duckett Horne and friend David Ritz, all of Union; two sons, Danny Halon Duckett of the home, and Richard Keith Duckett and wife Claudia of Gaffney; one sister, Linda Blanton of Gaffney; one brother, Tom Boyle of Union; seven grandchildren; and one great-grandson.

Funeral services were held 3:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 7, 2004 at Fairview Baptist Church, conducted by Rev. Warren Jones and Rev. Clarence Crocker. Burial was in the church cemetery.

The family received friends Monday, December 6, 2004 from 7:00-9:00 p.m. at the funeral home..
