He married Flora M. Emery on May 14, 1927, at Murphysboro. He leaves his wife and children, D. Rex Sanders of Normandy, Missouri, Mrs. Rosalie Patterson of Miami, Oklahoma, Mrs. Pauline Cooper of San Pablo, California, Mrs. Jerry Reynolds of Murphysboro and Mrs. Regina Williams of Murphysboro.
Mr. Perkins was a member of the First Christian Church, Murphysboro. He was a retired carpenter for the Missouri Pacific Railroad.
Mr. Perkins died at the age of 78 in St. Joseph Memorial Hospital.
