From: 'Death Notices From Hickman County Newspapers 1900-1924' by Ora Lee Peery Sawyer, p 48.
"2-10-1921: PLEAS HENSLEY
Pleas Hensley died at his home on Cane Creek Sunday nighty at 9:30 after a few hours of illness of heart failure. He had apparently been in the best of health until an hour or so before the attack, which began with intense pains in the heard [sic]. A physician was called but Mr. Hensley was dead when he arrived.
He was 44 years of age and leaves a wife and seven children. For years he had been a successful farmer of Cane Creek and interment was in the family burial ground.
The family has the sympathy of many friends. Mrs. Hensley's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Brant Skelton, two daughters and a granddaughter have died within the past year."
NOTE: The memorial tombstone for Pleant Tillman and his infant son, Osbia, is in the Edwards Cemetery, however they are both buried in the Sutton Cemetery in Hickman Co.
-----------------------
Pleas' WW I draft registration says he had blue eyes and dark hair.
