Sallie M. Hensley
Sallie Marie Hensley, 3151 Cane Creek Road, died on March 6, 2002 at the
Baptist Hospital in Nashville, at the age of 92.
Funeral services were at the McDonald Funeral Home Inc., Satrurday, March
9, 2002 at 1:00 p.m. Officiating was Michael Gillstrap. Burial was in the Edwards
Cemetery.
Mrs. Hensley(sic) was born March 25, 1909 in Centerville, a daughter of the late
Pleas T. and Stella Skelton Hensley. She was in the Air Force during WW II and
a cook at Camp Nacome.
Survivors include two sisters, Allene Lynch and Edith Edwards of Hohenwald.
Several nieces and nephews."

Note: Sallie Marie Hensley was divorced from Ed Barber, and took back her maiden name of Hensley.
Sallie Marie enlisted in the Women's Army Corps (WACS), on 11 Feb 1943, in Hickman Co., TN, as an Avaition Cadet, for the duration of the war. At that time, she was single, with no dependents; 4 years of high school; height: 67".
Dearly loved by family and friends.
