She had lived in Columbia all her life and was a member of Park Street Baptist church. Surviving are her husband; four daughters, Mrs. John P. Bethea, Miss Beatrice Dyson, Miss Margery Dyson and Miss Dorothy Dyson, all of Columbia; three sons, W. M. Dyson, L. L. Dyson and C. L. Dyson; two brothers, S. W. Barber and C. O. Barber of Columbia; three grandchildren and one niece.
