Marcella Webb Adams, 79, of Vienna, and formerly of Tamms, died Thursday, Jan. 15, 2004, at 10:50 a.m. at her home.

She was born on May 25, 1924, in Tamms, the daughter of Henry and Minnie (MILLER) Bufford.

She married Floyd Webb. He preceded her in death on Oct. 13, 1959. Later she married Doyle Adams. He died on Jan. 14, 1997.

Mrs. Adams was a homemaker and a member of Bethany Baptist Church.

She is survived by two daughters, Karen Smithey of Jefferson City, Tenn. and a Ginger Mowery of Vienna; two sons, Richard Webb of McClure and Terry Webb of Omaha, NE; a stepdaughter, Sandra Icenhower of Fairview Heights; a stepson, Greg Adams of Round Lake; 11 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; a brother, Earl Bufford of Harlingen, TX; a sister, Marjorie Webb of Cape Girardeau, MO; nieces, nephews and other relatives.

She was preceded in death by her husbands and her parents; a brother, Harold Bufford; a sister, Reita McKee; and one grandson.

Funeral services were Saturday, Jan. 17, 2004 at 1 p.m. at Crain Funeral Home in Tamms. Interment was in Green Lawn Memorial Gardens.
