Kenneth Casson enlisted on September 10, 1942 at Chicago, Illinois in the United States Army Air Corps for the duration of World War II. After the war he remained in the reorganized United States Air Force, and on April 1, 1951, he was promoted to the rank of Master Sergeant in the newly activated 580th Maintenance Squadron, commanded by Major Clarence M. Redding, in the 580th Air Resupply and Communications Wing stationed at Mountain Home Air Force Base, Elmore County, Idaho. He died while in the service of his country.
