My Great-Great-Aunt. Carmen was born on April 2, 1921 in Los Angeles, California to Rafael Negrete and Guadalupe Sanchez. She married Donato Cuentas on October 23, 1954 in Las Vegas and had 4 children, Linda, Donald, Barbara, & Leo, they were later divorced. Carmen was a surgical assistant at Whittier Presbyterian Hospital where she met Charles William "Bill" King who was a custodian, they married on October 18, 1963 in Los Angeles and shortly after moved to Rowland Heights where they spent the rest of their married life together. Carmen passed away on February 21, 2005 of a heart attack at the age of 83. She was survived by her husband of 41 years Bill King, her Sons Donald Cuentas and wife Vivian and Leo Cuentas and wife Sally, Daughters Linda Carter and Barbara Vargas, 9 Grandchildren, 11 Great-Grandchildren, Sister-in-Laws Angela Negrette of Hayward, CA, Helen Negrette of Long Beach, CA, Katherine Negrette of Palmdale, CA, Pearl Negrette of Burbank, CA, many nieces and nephews
